An Energy Performance Certificate is valid for 10 years from the date it’s lodged on the EPC register. After that you’ll need a fresh assessment if you sell or rent the property.
Our domestic EPCs start from £49 for a small flat or terraced house. Larger properties and commercial units are quoted individually — usually between £75 and £150.
Yes. Since April 2020 all rental properties in England & Wales must have a minimum EPC rating of E (with limited exemptions). The minimum is set to rise to C for new tenancies in the coming years.
